General JIS Grade
Suzuki-Sumiden stainless steel spring wire is made with the advanced manufacturing technology that we have cultivated over many years. Although our primary focus is on springs for automobile parts, we also make spring wire for office automation and communication equipment, and even household goods such as hairpins. Our stainless steel wire is used as a spring material in many fields, earning high marks for quality and reliability.

High strength
We achieve tensile strength higher than SUS304-WPB, which is representative of typical stainless steel spring wire, and offer a lineup that meets the diverse needs of our customers.
EX-SUS
This is a high strength stainless steel wire with strength equivalent to type A piano wire before tempering, and to type B piano wire after adjustment for tempering.
Various grades of wire can be processed into springs, from lower strength wire (offering advantages in workability) to high strength wire (with advantages in spring characteristics and durability). We also employ a wide range of tempering temperatures, according to the intended application.

Super Dolce
This is a high strength stainless steel wire with tensile strength and high temperature applicability equivalent to SUS631WPC through tempering at 500°C for 20 minutes. It also delivers corrosion resistance equal to or higher than SUS316 standards.

This is a high strength stainless steel wire made through our exclusive processing methodology, offering high tensile strength regardless of wire diameter. In particular, it delivers exceptionally high strength at thicker wire diameters of 2.00 or more.

High corrosion resistance
SSS170
With pitting and crevice corrosion resistance of more than SUS316 and SUS317L, this stainless steel wire can be used in a variety of corrosive environments. It offers excellent resistance to sulfuric and hydrochloric acids, including higher concentrations and temperatures than can be attained with SUS316. Its mechanical properties are equivalent to SUS304-WPB.

Super Dolce
This is a highly corrosion resistant stainless steel wire with resistance equal to or higher than SUS316. With tempering (500°C x 20 minutes), it can deliver tensile strength and high temperature performance equivalent to SUS631WPC.

Nonmagnetic
SSS130M
SSS130M is a super nonmagnetic stainless steel wire with magnetic permeability of less than 1.01, even after extensive processing. Typically, austenitic stainless steel wire used for springs has magnetism when worked cold, but this product removes those limitations.
